Finally! Unisex gift options for modern sense of style… http://bit.ly/altM3Y

For so long it seemed that the only options for unisex gifts where in green or yellow and came with circus animals all over them. Fine for a traditional, more conservative mom or nursery- but for those of us seeking more modern style decor and apparel for our little ones, we were simply out of luck when it came to preparing for a baby that was going to be a surprise. Now, with chocolate as one of the hottest colors for babies, we have options galore- AND chocolate naturally goes well with almost all shades of pink and blue- so once that baby arrives and you know the sex, you can add accent pieces in dusty or hot pink for a girl, or turquoise or sky blue for a boy.
Here are some of my favorite gift ideas for the momma who is waiting to find out whether she will be blessed with a boy or a girl….

Clearly I am a huge foodie…this is not my first post on what foods I find the most tasty, the most effective and the most healthy. And so my love affair with fresh new ideas for meals a mommy will love continues with what I call Breakfast Brilliance. Last time I posted about breakfast it was centered around that fabulous thing we call oatmeal. And while I still hold oatmeal at the top of my fabulous food list, I have a new option for you morning mommies. Try this gorgeous concoction for a protein filled, sweet tasting, organic treat…

Start with an organic whole wheat english muffin, toast it then spread it with crunchy organic peanut butter and top it off with sliced organic strawberries. Yep, that’s it…basically an “unpreserved” PB and J! This quick treat is as yummy as it is gorgeous! (and it will keep you nice and full till lunch thanks to the peanut butter).
